Celebrate the twentieth of the National People's Congress of the communist party|The growth of China aluminum industry

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), China's aluminum industry has been cast with great effort to benefit thousands of families and industries. China remains the world's largest aluminum producer and consumer, and the aluminum industry scale and consumer demand have grown steadily, playing an irreplaceable role in building the material foundation for national prosperity, people's well-being and social harmony.

After steel, aluminum is the second most important metal used by mankind. Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties and relatively low cost, aluminum and aluminum alloys are widely used in aviation, chemical, transportation, construction, national defense and other industries. At the same time, aluminum resources are very rich, according to the preliminary calculation, its mineral reserves account for about 8% of the crustal components, the highest content in metals.

Aluminum industry is an important basic raw material industry of our national economy and plays an irreplaceable strategic role in economic construction, national defense and the development of high-tech emerging industries. At present, the aluminum industry system of our country has been completely established, the level of technical equipment has generally entered the advanced ranks of the world, and become the largest aluminum production and consumer in the world.

The growing aluminum industry is holding up a brighter future for the Chinese nation. Whether in manned spaceflight, lunar exploration project, deep sea engineering projects such as power jack forging, or in the integrated circuit, new energy, high-speed motor car battery in areas such as high-tech product manufacturing, and in such aspects as construction, transportation, office, living necessities of infrastructure construction and production, to be able to see the figure of aluminum. Since 2020, with the implementation of the "double carbon" target continuously go deep solid, aluminum as a kind of ideal green materials are getting more and more widely recognized, as the new energy vehicles, and other countries to do a solid backing, strategic emerging industry development also in construction, packaging, transportation and other industries plays an important role in the low carbon road.

According to the industrial chain, China's aluminum industry mainly includes bauxite, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum processing, and recycled aluminum. Bauxite is extracted to get alumina, alumina is electrolyzed to get electrolytic aluminum, and electrolytic aluminum is processed into aluminum by means of casting, rolling, extrusion, stretching and forging, which is used in various fields. According to a rough calculation, it takes 2 tons of bauxite for every 1 ton of alumina and 2 tons of alumina for every 1 ton of electrolytic aluminum. In addition, in order to vigorously develop circular economy and alleviate the bauxite resources in our country, the regenerative aluminum industry has gradually grown into an important part of our aluminum industry. Regenerated aluminum is the aluminum alloy or aluminum metal obtained by remelting and refining from waste aluminum and aluminum alloy materials or aluminum containing waste. It is an important source of metal aluminum and mainly appears in the form of aluminum alloy.

The output of major products in the aluminum industry is growing rapidly.

1. Outstanding results have been achieved in supply-side structural reform of the electrolytic aluminum industry, and the output of electrolytic aluminum has moved from a medium-high growth rate to a low growth stage.

From 2013 to 2021, the annual output of electrolytic aluminum increased from 26.53 million tons to 38.5 million tons, with an increase of 11.97 million tons and a growth rate of 45.1%. Its growth can be roughly divided into two stages. The first stage is from 2013 to 2016, which is a medium-high growth stage with a compound annual growth rate of about 5.4%. The second stage is from 2017 to now, which is a low-speed growth stage, with the compound annual growth rate dropping to about 3.6%. In 2017, the electrolytic aluminum industry began to implement supply-side structural reform, strictly limiting the scale of new capacity, and new capacity must be replaced by the same amount or reduction of the old capacity by closing down. Under the regulation of a series of industrial policies, the growth rate of the output of electrolytic aluminum in China has stopped and slowed down successfully, and has returned to a reasonable growth space scientifically. Currently, China has formed a "ceiling" of 45 million tons of electrolytic aluminum production capacity.

2. alumina production is increasing steadily, with electrolytic aluminum into a low growth stage.

From 2013 to 2021, the annual production of alumina in China increased from 47.75 million tons to 77.48 million tons, increasing by 29.73 million tons, with a growth rate of 62.3%. Its growth with electrolytic aluminum can be roughly divided into two stages. The first stage is from 2013 to 2016, which is a medium-high growth stage with a compound annual growth rate of about 6.3%. The second stage is from 2017 to now, which is a slow growth stage, with the compound annual growth rate dropping to 4.9%.

3. The output of aluminum products increased substantially to provide material base for the national economic construction of our country.

With the continuous development of Chinese economy and the acceleration of green industry, the demand for aluminum in civilian and commercial areas continues to rise; At the same time, aluminum is also an important material for major projects in aerospace, deep-sea development and other fields. From 2013 to 2021, the annual production of aluminum increased from 33.49 million tons to 61.05 million tons, with a growth rate of 82.3% and a growth rate of 27.56 million tons, meeting the demand for aluminum in all fields of society.

4.The output of regenerative aluminum continues to rise, and the regenerative aluminum industry has become an important part of our aluminum industry.

On February 5, 2013, The State Council issued China's first strategic plan for the development of Circular Economy -- Circular Economy Development Strategy and Near-term Action Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan). According to the Action Plan, the immediate goal of developing circular economy in China is: by the end of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the main resource output rate will increase by 15% compared with the end of the "eleventh Five-Year plan", and the total output value of resources recycling industry will reach 1.8 trillion yuan; The medium - and long-term goals are to promote recycling production, promote green consumption, establish a resource recycling system covering the whole society, substantially increase the resource output rate, and significantly enhance the capacity for sustainable development. Therefore, China's aluminum industry has taken measures to greatly increase the renewable aluminum output. From 2013 to 2021, China's annual output of recycled aluminum increased from 5.27 million tons to 8 million tons, with a growth rate of 2.73 million tons and a growth rate of 51.8%.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Metal-new has been focusing on aluminum melt purification research to help the aluminum industry grow.

Aluminum and its alloy are easy to oxidize and absorb gases in the process of melting and pouring, and easy to form inclusions, pores and other defects in the process of die casting, which are unfavorable to the alloy structure, thereby reducing the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the alloy and reducing the yield. Therefore, the key to improve the quality of aluminum die casting is to control the melting process reasonably and improve the quality of aluminum melt. Fujian Metal-new is an innovative enterprise specializing in the production and research of aluminum alloy smelting process technology, special equipment and high performance special purpose aluminum alloy materials. It was established in Minhou County, Fuzhou, Fujian Province in November 2010 with a registered capital of 40.47 million yuan. The founder of the company is the director of the former Institute of Non-Ferrous Metal Smelting and the Institute of Material Equipment Technology, Fuzhou University. He has been engaged in aluminum alloy melt treatment and purification related research for more than 30 years.

The company takes "hand and brain, towards innovation" as the motto, has a perfect technical team, existing staff 110 people, adhere to the people-oriented, the pursuit of excellence, innovation and integrity. He has won 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 4 third prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress. At present, he has 6 invention patents and dozens of utility model patents. He has edited 6 national and industrial standards and published 2 related technical monographs. He has many years of experience and attainments in the field of aluminum alloy melt treatment and purification technology. With annual sales of 400 million yuan, it is a science and technology enterprise with broad possibilities and development in the aluminum industry.
