What is the transmittance of ceramic filter plate?

Transmittance refers to the effective filtering area of foam ceramic filter plate products. The higher the transmittance, the fewer blind holes, the more effective hole filtration (hole marking), the better the filtering effect.

The foam ceramic filter plate to be inspected is placed in a light box with a built-in 200W incandescent bulb, and the large area transmittable area of the filter plate is measured by using a square square transparent plastic plate of uniform 5.05.0mm square. The transmittance of the filter plate is measured by calculating the transmittance of the filter plate tested. The standard stipulates that the light transmittance of the filter plate (ventilation rate) is above 95%.

What is the porosity of ceramic filter plate?

Porosity is the total volume of pores in the filter plate products accounted for the total volume of the filter plate products. The greater the porosity, the greater the filtration flow of the filter plate, the stronger the filtration capacity, and vice versa.

There are two main methods of measuring porosity.

Another method is to first measure the actual density and volume density of the filter plate sample to be tested, and then calculate the clearance of the sample according to the following formula.

The two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. The operation process of the method is simple and the detection speed is fast. However, the fatal weakness of the method is that the filtration material itself has the characteristics of absorption, so the volume of water discharged is smaller than the actual, so the measured data is smaller. Method 2: The experimental process is relatively complicated, but the influence of filter plate material absorption is removed in the experimental process, and the data obtained is relatively accurate.

This standard sets the porosity index above 84%.

What is the porosity uniformity of ceramic filter plate?

Hole uniformity of ceramic filter plate is used to illustrate the difference between the actual number of holes per 25.4 mm length of filter plate product and the theoretical need for the number of holes. The smaller the gap is, the better the quality of the product. If the gap is too large, the impurity interception ability of the filter plate product will decline, or the filter speed of the melt is too slow to meet the individual requirements of the user in production. The size of the uniformity of the hole mainly depends on the foam used in the production of the filter plate, the uniformity of the hole of the foam is good, the uniformity of the hole of the filter plate is good, so the choice of the foam is very important.
